Juste un petit billet rapide pour vous signaler que suite aux rumeurs d'intentions de Microsoft de se payer une bonne part d'AOL (entre autre afin de glisser leurs propres moyens de liens sponsorisés), Google va se payer 5% d'AOL pour éviter ces petits désagréments ...

Du coup, au lieu de passer devant tous les vendeurs de liens sponsorisés, ils se retrouvent définitivement et pour longtemps à la troisième place derrière Google et Yahoo!.

Et c'est qui qui va faire voler les chaises dans son bureau ? C'est notre ami Steeve !

Tient, tant qu'on est dans les rumeurs à la con, Google ne se paye pas Opera comme tout le monde l'a raconté sur internet.

Puis aussi, l'encyclopédie Wikipedia est finalement relativement fiable selon la revue Nature puisqu'elle tient tout à fait la comparaison avec la très honorable encyclopédie Britania. Ceci vient à point nommé suite aux conneries qui ont put se dire dernièrement.

Pour ce qui est des critiques sur Wikipedia (même si évidemment toute encyclopédie a ses propres défauts et qualités), cela vient peut-être du fait que les élites médiatiques ne voient pas d'un bon oeil la diffusion démocratique et le partage des savoirs... Jusqu'ici, ça les arrangeait plutôt bien que la connaissance soit distillée selon un modèle pyramidale. Le nouveau modèle horizontal égalitaire proposé par internet peut mettre à mal certaines dictatures, certaines pensées uniques... L'information n'est plus controlable ? Tant mieux !

Concernant wikipédia dans la revue Nature, il y a quand meme un bémol à avoir, les articles vérifié sont tous des articles scientifique. Domaine dans lequel il est facile de reperer des erreurs, et ou le système de wikipédia est asser efficace.

Pour y avoir participé régulièrement et avoir fait quelques traductions, on retrouve parfois d'une langue a une autre des incohérence manifeste. De plus, peu de personnes citent leurs sources d'information quand il y a des ajouts sur un article.

De toute manière à wikipédia, faut que je m'y remette..

Il est clair que Wikipedia est quand même beaucoup mieux pour les Sciences que pour les Arts et la Littérature... (c'est normal, ce sont des geeks pour la plupart qui font les articles !) Personnellement j'ai fait un article (j'ai fait la première version parlant de la série de BD "complaintes des landes perdues") et quelques contributions sur des articles existants (notamment sur la liste des navigateurs existants).

Mais bon, tout ça, ça commence à dater puisque c'était en 2004 ... Depuis pas trop de contribution supplémentaire ...

J'etait surtout sur wikipédia pendant mon chomage je me suis occupé de tout les tableau de toute les prefecture et sous-prefecture pour forcer leurs utilisation.

J'ai surtout crée des pages concernant les villes et village du 17, en prenant des photos ici et la, et en recuperant des infos sur les plaques de chaque église.

Le plus gros boulot a été pour la page de royan, ou j'ai trouvé des sources interressante, que j'ai pas mal modifiée et mélangée.

J'ai trouvé un soft qui peut creer des images sat libre de droit, et j'ai commencé a ajouter des images de qualité (notemment les acores ou je pourrai integrer les relevé topographique de chaque ile)

Sinon, je me souivens avoir passé une nuit a trier les astronautes,spacionautres et autre cosmonautes.

Enfin, dans la partie informatique, j'ai traduit pas mal de page concernant les processeurs et les consoles. En ajoutant des photos de proc que j'ai scannée en les prenant au boulot etc..

les grosses traduction sont la page sur les amigas (mes roms!), pong et la disquette.

bien entendu, cela fait presque 1an que j'ai pas fait de grosses contrib mais je cherche dans le sud-ouest, toute les donnée historique du coin et les rajoute dans la wikipédia, quand je vois qu'on peut les ajouter.
